Cupcake Teapot Cozy Tutorial

Heads up, y'all! If you'd like a tutorial on making the cupcake teapot cozy shown (but unfortunately not demonstrated) on the Felt Club episode of Uncommon Threads that aired on HGTV back in February, you can find it right here. The creator, Shawnee Kornely, started up a blog called Life with Monkey where she gives you the skinny on making this project (along with many others). Be sure to check it out!

We taped a second episode (with my pals Teresa and Wendy), but it looks like it may not be airing for a while...DIY Network (which is where this show normally airs) is still showing 2006 repeats, and the new episodes HGTV has been featuring (apparently as a test/promo kind of thing) are coming along slow as molasses (and I'm not sure how long they will be airing the show at all on HGTV). I've heard that DIY will begin airing the 2007 season proper this Fall, so hopefully that's true and our episode will air on one network or another eventually. I'll keep you posted!
